Russia plans to free almost 100 captured whales from holding facility, dubbed as “whale prisons”, near port of Nakhodka. Jean-Michel Cousteau, son of Jacques Cousteau, is with Ocean Futures Society and arrived Friday in Russia on mission to inspect the mammals and help create conditions for release.
